Under The Sea started with a simple idea: that the aquarium hobby deserved one trusted place with a family atmosphere. Ten years on, that's a full showroom in Monroe, eight service vans and 600+ tanks we look after every month.
Our story
One van, one promise
Under The Sea was founded in 2016 by Matt Bratton, out of a passion for delivering exceptional service in the aquarium industry. What began as a dream to bring quality and integrity back to the hobby has grown into a thriving business with a large showroom and a fleet of eight full-time service vans.
Today we serve over 600 maintenance customers from Hickory to Charlotte — and everywhere in between — helping hobbyists and businesses alike create and maintain stunning aquatic displays. Whether you're new to the hobby or a seasoned aquarist, we're here with expert support, top-tier products and service that actually turns up.
